Linked Out

It was reported today that a possible security breech at the popular professional social networking site, LinkedIn may have lead to the distribution of over 6 million encrypted passwords. Although LinkedIn has not yet been able to confirm or deny this, a Russian web forum was cited as inviting hackers world wide to participate in an effort to decrypt the stolen data.

If you use LinkedIn as a professional or social networking platform, we recommend you change your password there as soon as possible and if it is the same password you use for other internet accounts, be sure to change your password there too.
